Improv 101

Improv 101 teaches the basic concepts of longform improvisation. We'll spend 6 weeks together learning and practicing, and then put it all together in our very own improv show.

During class, we'll focus on getting out of our comfort zones and building worlds together as a team. Topics covered will include acceptance, giving and receiving gifts, physicality, character-building, emotion, and the logistics of performing improv as a team. By the end of the class, you'll feel more comfortable being silly and committing to a made-up world with your classmates by your side.

This class is for adults of all ages and all levels of experience. You don't have to be a performer, or have dreams of being on stage - we only ask that you be excited to try something new.

ALL SPOTS IN THE IMPROV 101 CLASS ARE NOW FILLED.

Thanks for your interest! Please stay tuned for future classes, and join our improv jams all summer if you still need your "yes, and" fix!
